Collecting first-hand accounts from key moments in history for BBC World Service

I’ve been working with the Witness History team who go out daily on the BBC World Service. The programme is all about meeting witnesses to history’s key moments, as move through 100 years of history. The programme covers everything from riots and uprisings to tech innovations, books that changed the world and untold war stories.

While working with the team I produced stories on Occupy Wall Street, transgender politics in sport, the story of the internet culture platform Reddit, and the liberation of the Channel Islands from German Occupation
